Dr. Mahn-Jick Lim, CEO and President,
founded MJL Technology in 1988. MJL's mission is
to develop the most reliable, high technology products
for the worldwide market, and to provide advanced
information technology solutions to customers based
on strategic partnerships and MJL's own core technologies.
MJL operates two main business lines, the Information
Technology Business Department and the Logic Design
Business Department. Core technology is developed
in the MJL R&D Center, and US based operations
are run from MJL America, a wholly owned subsidiary
of MJL Technology.

The Information Technology Business
Department has been successfully penetrating leading
carrier-grade telecommunications service providers
with Lark Series 10. Reference sites includes Korea
Telecom - the largest land-based telephone carrier
in Korea, Shinsegi Telecom - the second largest
land-based telephone carrier in Korea. The IT Business
Department also has successfully deployed carrier-class,
network infrastructure projects throughout Korea,
such as the fourth KORNET Expansion Project of Korea
Telecom, in which MJL was the primary contractor
in 2000. Additionally, MJL designed and built the
VoIP Network in Daejeon KRTC.

The Logic Design Business Department
encompasses logic design with very high-density
PLD devices. During the last decade, MJL has helped
primarily large corporations in Korea design and
develop logic circuits using PLDs/CPLDs/FPGAs. The
designs are mostly for telecommunication-switching
equipment including TDX-100, telecommunication base
stations for CDMA, various new generation equipment
for IMT-2000 (3rd Generation Wireless), broadband
equipment, and network equipment. These efforts
resulted in MJL capturing the largest PLD-business
market share in Korea.

The Component Business Department
currently covers network and wireless based chipsets,
including analog and embedded systems. This business
group, formed in 2001, is also responsible for new
technologies and new partnerships.
